SOURCE ONE SERVICE (SOS) is the services division of UTC which specializes in integrating and maintaining a variety of systems, networks and peripheral devices. SOS's broad technical expertise provides a wide array of service offerings tailored to the needs of its customers. Offering a wide range of systems integration and service plans, customers can choose the right program to meet their budget and service requirements. Services are provided on local, regional, or national level. Automated centralized dispatch and logistics systems allow rapid response to customer calls. Networks (WAN, LAN, NT, Novell), PCs, workstations, printers, scanners, plotters and communications equipment are covered under comprehensive, flexible service plans.

UTC Internet Backup Services |
 Our software provides a revolutionary new method of performing backups. First, data can be backed up to a Backup Server using a modem or an existing network connection. By running the Backup Client application on your local system, data can be backed up and restored to a server on the internet, rather than a tape drive or other local hardware device. This feature allows backups to be performed effortlessly at any time and data to be restored instantly if necessary. It also provides the extra security of having records kept off-site.
Secondly, UTC backup software uses a special Fast Binary Incremental Technology (FastBIT) process, making it a powerful and unique solution. This FastBIT technology provides the ability to extract the actual changes that occur within files. By extracting the changes and only sending these changed portions of the files, the overall backup time is significantly reduced. In many cases, a FastBIT backup reduces the amount of data that must be sent to the server by 85% - 99%.

Pictured is the edr400, a complete DVR package that supports 4 cameras, internet access, and solid LINUX OS. This system is perfect for shopkeepers and small businesses.
2> mid-level: Toshiba Surveillix
 Toshiba Surveillix systems are versatile DVRs that integrate into an LAN (click for LAN FAQ). They can handle up to 32 cameras each, and are easily scalable to handle more cameras. Ideal for schools, businesses, and other demanding Surveillance environments.
3> top-level: Insight Video Net
 Insight systems are non-traditional and cutting edge. They rely on the LAN and all its technology, blending SNMP, MPEG Processing hardware, wireless technologies, HTML, and impeccable management capabilities to provide an exciting and new form of Surveillance. These systems include maps for physical sites to make sense of the hundreds or thousands of cameras it can manage and control. Insight systems also support 30 frames per second for every camera, audio in and out at each camera, and an incredible monitor system that can handle multiple locations at the same time.
